Job Description: Regional Business Development (BD) Head – Rapid Store Expansion (South Region)


Location: Bangalore

Industry: Quick Commerce

CTC: Up to ₹35 LPA


Key Responsibilities

1. South Region Expansion Strategy

  • Lead the strategy and execution of rapid store expansion in South India (including key cities and towns) for the quick commerce brand.
  • Identify high-potential locations in cities across the South, ensuring maximum market penetration and revenue potential.
  • Develop and implement a region-specific expansion strategy that aligns with the company’s broader growth goals and targets.


2. Market Research & Opportunity Identification

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to assess customer behavior, regional trends, competitor activities, and expansion opportunities across South India.
  • Identify and prioritize locations for new store openings, focusing on areas with strong demand, good logistics, and brand visibility potential.
  • Continuously evaluate the market and adapt the expansion strategy to changing dynamics and competition.


3. Stakeholder & Partner Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with landlords, property agents, government bodies, and external partners in South India to secure prime retail spaces.
  • Lead lease negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for the company, and oversee property acquisition for new stores.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Operations, HR, Marketing) to ensure smooth execution of new store launches in the region.


4. Financial Oversight & Budgeting

  • Manage the budget for regional expansion, ensuring cost-effective store openings and adherence to financial targets.
  • Analyze financial viability and potential returns of new locations, ensuring profitability and alignment with the company’s expansion strategy.
  • Optimize spending and resource allocation, ensuring high ROI on expansion efforts.


5. Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Track and assess the performance of newly opened stores, focusing on key metrics such as sales, footfall, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve store performance and drive better results in the South region.
  • Implement corrective actions as needed to overcome challenges and optimize operations.
