About UsWe're reimagining how Private Equity and consulting teams work—by building intelligent AI-native workflows and agentic platforms tailored to real-world needs of high-performance teams.Our mission is to accelerate value creation through cutting-edge AI, system design, and product craftsmanship.Role Overview We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who can own core backend systems, ship fast, and build scalable infrastructure to power intelligent agent workflows and AI-native applications.Key Responsibilities:Design and Scale Backend Systems: Build and scale high-performance backend systems using Python (FastAPI), ensuring modular, efficient architecture aligned with product goals.Cloud Deployment and Optimization: Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure for reliability and scalability.LLM Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with AI and product teams to integrate LLM pipelines into backend services.Leadership and Engineering Culture: Independently lead projects, mentor junior engineers, set code quality standards, and contribute to a fast-paced, high-ownership engineering culture.Must-Have Qualifications Backend Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Python, with strong proficiency in FastAPI, and solid CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, system design, and design patterns.Scalable Systems: Proven ability to design and scale production-grade systems, with a deep understanding of architecture and trade-offs.Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including deployment, CI/CD, observability, and cost optimization.AI & Ownership: Strong ownership mindset with experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including AI-native backends using LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.Experience with agent frameworks like Autogen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoChain, along with exposure to vector databases, embedding pipelines, and retrieval-based systems.Background in FinTech or internal tools, with a strong passion for developer experience and infrastructure innovation.BenefitsIndustry-leading pay with performance-based rewards.Work on cutting-edge AI applications with global impact and real-world use cases.A remote-first, fast-paced team with direct influence on product and architecture decisions.We think you'd be a great fit
