Automation Test Lead Position OverviewThis is an opportunity to leverage your technical skills and experience in test automation to contribute to the success of our organization.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with expertise in test automation frameworks, especially Selenium and BDD. They should be proficient in Java and have experience working with API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured.We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for web and mobile applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement automated tests: Develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks.Test automation framework development: Create and maintain test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API projects.API testing and automation: Experience in API testing & API Automation & Good knowledge of Postman / RestAssured/karate (any one the rest can be trained if not available)Cucumber framework knowledge: Expected to be proficient in one of the test BDD frameworks Cucumber.Git and Jenkins: Good knowledge of Git, Jenkins knowledgeEnhancing and developing API/Web Service automation framework: Experience in enhancing & developing of API/Web Service automation framework.Test planning and execution: Write and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Defect identification and tracking: Execute test cases and report defects in a timely manner.Coordinating testing activities: Experience in estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activitiesFunctional integration testing: Strong ability to perform functional integration testing of all integration points between the applications, components, and servicesEnd-to-end manual testing: Perform end-to-end manual testing where features and user stories are tested in their entiretyCollaboration and improvement: Identify and track defects, and work with the development team to resolve them.Integrate test suites: Integrate test suites into the test management system and custom test harnesses.Team collaboration: Collaborate with the development team to ensure that the product meets the requirements and is of high quality.Continuous improvement: Participate in product demos and release reviews.Staying up-to-date: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.Requirements and QualificationsMust-have qualificationsFunctional requirement gathering: Min 8 yearsSelenium BDD automation: Min 8+ yearsCucumber framework: Min 4+ years Core Java: Min 6 +YearsAPI automation: Min 4 years (Karate, rest assured)Git knowledge: Min 1 year Other-skillsAutomation framework implementation: Min 5 yearGradle/maven: Min 5 yearsJenkins knowledge: Min 4 yearsPostman knowledge: Min 2 yearsDatabase testing: 2 Years Nice to have qualificationsMobile automation: Min 2 yearsKarate API framework knowledge:Splunk experience: Min 1 year
