Backend Developer PositionThis is a long-term contract opportunity with a leading global technology firm.Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced software developer to join our team as a Backend Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Spring, with experience in designing, developing, and deploying complex software systems.Responsibilities:Design and develop high-quality software applications using Java and Spring.Participate in software design meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements and translate general goals into actionable plans.Serve as a technical expert on development projects and support the full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation and maintain and document software functionality.Requirements:9+ years of experience in Backend Software Development.Candidate should be very good in Java and Spring.Must have worked on complex systems and be ready to onboard quickly.Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements.Able to work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes based on general objectives with minimal supervision.Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for market sale or large-scale proprietary software for internal use.Translate general goals into actionable plans and delivering results with minimal guidance.Consult with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.Conducts routine tasks as directed.Serve as technical expert on development projects.Participate in full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design.Support, maintain, and document software functionality.Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation.Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.Benefits:The successful candidate will become part of a progressive culture that fosters creativity and innovation.
