Strategic Data Analyst

Job Description:This role involves developing risk reporting for business and risk teams. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of data infrastructure and analytical tools to conduct risk analysis.Create foundational skills in understanding the fundamentals of financial systems, their products, and portfolios.Deepen understanding of data infrastructure and analytical tools to conduct risk analysis.Partner with the analytical community to ensure data availability to meet use cases and reporting requirementsCollaborate with commercial engagement teams, lines of business, and risk functions to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs)Leverage SQL and Python to query existing data and run analysis on financial data and modelsDevelop dashboards and packaged reporting for delivery to key stakeholdersMonitor KPI/KRI universe and set standards for reportingPair reporting with business activities to provide context and meaning to drive actionable outcomesSupport senior analysts to maintain constant reporting requirements for regulators and other internal stakeholdersPresentation of reports for management with strategic recommendations and action plans created in collaboration with lines of business and risk stakeholdersAutomation of reporting using Tableau and other tools Required Skills and Qualifications:The successful candidate should have:Strong knowledge of data infrastructure and analytical toolsAbility to develop foundational skills in understanding financial systems, their products, and portfoliosExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and collaboration skillsProficiency in SQL and Python programming languagesExperience with data visualization tools like TableauFamiliarity with risk management concepts and practices Benefits:This role offers:Opportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and dynamic work environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageRecognition and rewards for outstanding performance
