CFD Specialist for HVAC and Railway SystemsThe ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in HVAC systems, railway environment airflow analysis, and fan performance modeling. Key responsibilities include preparing CFD models, conducting CFD analyses, performing fan simulations, and interpreting simulation data.This role requires hands-on expertise in StarCCM+ for model preparation, meshing, and airflow simulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire simulation workflow — from setup to interpretation — supporting engineering design decisions through precise analytical results.Key Responsibilities:Prepare CFD models including geometry simplification and meshing using StarCCM+Conduct CFD analyses focused on airflow, pressure losses, and porous media performancePerform fan simulations and lateral airflow load assessments under railway operating conditionsAnalyze porous media pressure losses for filters, coils, and related HVAC componentsInterpret simulation data, document findings, and collaborate with engineering teams for design optimizationMust-Have Experience:Strong expertise in StarCCM+ for model preparation and meshingProven experience in airflow and pressure loss analyses through HVAC unitsHands-on experience with fan simulations and lateral airflow loads in railway applicationsAbility to analyze porous media pressure losses (filters, coils, etc.)
