Every design focuses on sustainability, using energy-efficient technologies to lower long-term costs and create greener, future-friendly homes.You will work closely with architects, developers, and contractors to ensure that the systems you design are commercially viable, buildable, and optimized for both small renovations and large-scale developments.Required Skills and QualificationsA minimum B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree or chartered status is strongly preferred.5+ years of experience in mechanical services design for residential or mixed-use developments, with a track record of delivering high-performance projects.Deep knowledge of heating and domestic hot water systems, including heat pumps, low-temperature networks, thermal storage, and advanced control strategies.Proficiency in thermal modelling, load calculations, and relevant software (e.g., IES VE, TAS, EnergyPlus, Revit, AutoCAD).AutoCAD/REVIT proficiency desirable.Thorough understanding of UK building regulations, Future Home Standards, and low-carbon technologies.Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a drive to challenge conventional practice.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.BenefitsYou will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that make a real impact on the environment.
