Exciting Opportunity at SGT University: Dean - Faculty of Engineering & Technology
SGT University, located on a sprawling 70-acre campus near outer Gurgaon, is seeking an accomplished academic leader to join our team as the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering & Technology. Our vibrant campus, home to over 9,000 students, offers diverse programs in Medicine, Engineering, Hotel Management, Business Management, Arts, and Science. As part of a larger group engaged in education and hospitality, we pride ourselves on our dynamic environment, exceptional facilities, and proximity to Delhi.
Position: Professor & Dean - Faculty of Engineering & Technology
Role Overview:
- Lead the planning, assessment, and development of programs and services within the department, aligning with the National Education Policy (NEP) platform.
- Implement and promote new teaching pedagogies to drive excellence in education.
- Oversee faculty hiring, development, and performance to meet institutional goals.
- Enhance teaching and learning through innovative pedagogical strategies and technology integration.
- Collaborate closely with school leadership, program managers, and faculty to ensure student satisfaction and achievement of learning outcomes.
- Display strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills in a start-up-like environment.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science Engineering and a Master's degree with significant industry experience.
- 20 years of proven experience with demonstrated leadership in academia.
- Experience in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to thrive in an international setting.
