Job descriptionSOLAR Engineer- PV & PT -Sales & Projects, OnSite, Botswana, AfricaApex Solar BotswanaASB is in the business of providing solar solutions and has 3 business verticalsSale of Retail/Wholesale Solar Equipment'sEPC (Engineering, procurement, Commissioning) for Solar Projects/Solutions (turnkey Solutions)IPP (Independent power producers/ developer of projects as investor cum developer)Job Location : Gaborone, Botswana, AfricaJob Summary:Sales & Commercial SupportSupport technical sales discussions with clients and partners.Prepare techno-commercial proposals and respond to RFPs.Provide ROI, CAPEX/OPEX, and energy savings analysis.Liaise with procurement for vendor/supplier selection.Coordinate with clients, and utility companies.Ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.Conduct site assessments, load profiling, and yield simulations with help of design team.RequirementsHave min. 5 years working in Solar PV Systems.Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical EngineeringFamiliar with tender documentsFamiliar Design tools like PVsyst, Helioscope and AutoCADGreat Understanding of MS. OfficeAble to read electrical engineering drawingsProficient in English, both written and spokenValid 4 wheel Driving License.Valid passport.Preferred traitsGood communication, planning and time management skillsAble to work under minimum supervision and proactiveNatural leaderWell-organized and systematicSuitable candidates can also post their interest on solar@apexhub.co
