Database Leadership PositionWe are seeking a highly skilled database administrator to lead our database team and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical database systems.The ideal candidate will oversee the development of robust database solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to industry best practices.Main Responsibilities:Develop and implement database strategies that align with business objectives and drive growth.Optimize database performance through tuning, indexing, and other techniques to ensure efficient data access and system response times.Implement and maintain data security measures, including access controls, data encryption, and regular security audits.Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and software developers to integrate database solutions with data pipelines, analytics platforms, and software applications.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.8-10 years of experience in database administration roles, with a strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems.Expert knowledge of database management systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft SQL Server.Strong SQL and query tuning skills, experience with database optimization techniques.Familiarity with cloud-based database services, such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database.
