Job Description: Senior / Lead Photographer

Location: Basavanagudi, Bengaluru

Department: Studio & Visual Production


We are looking for a Senior Photographer to join our growing Studio & Visual Production team. This role will lead and mentor a team of photographers while working closely with stylists, editors, and the creative team on catalog, e-commerce, and campaign shoots. The ideal candidate is a creative leader with strong technical mastery, an eye for detail, and a passion for jewelry and lifestyle photography.


Key Responsibilities

📸 Model & Lifestyle Photography

  • Lead model photoshoots for campaigns, lookbooks, and e-commerce.
  • Direct models, stylists, and crew to achieve brand-focused storytelling.
  • Ensure poses, styling, and moods are aligned with brand aesthetics.

💍 Product & Jewelry Photography

  • Oversee e-commerce and marketing product photography.
  • Capture jewelry with precision—highlighting textures, colors, and fine details.
  • Maintain strict quality standards and visual consistency.

👥 Team Leadership

  • Mentor, train, and supervise photographers.
  • Plan and allocate daily/weekly shoot schedules.
  • Review team outputs regularly to maintain high standards.

🎨 Creative Direction & Innovation

  • Collaborate with Creative and Styling teams to design shoot themes.
  • Introduce innovative compositions, lighting, and photography styles.
  • Experiment with trends and technologies to elevate brand imagery.

🖌️ Post-Production & Quality Control

  • Retouch and ensure color accuracy for high-priority shoots.
  • Oversee editing by image editors for consistency in tone and quality.
  • Maintain brand photography guidelines across all outputs.

🎥 Equipment & Studio Management

  • Manage cameras, lenses, lighting, and studio equipment.
  • Ensure smooth studio setup for all shoot requirements.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and keep equipment shoot-ready.

📅 Workflow & Quality Assurance

  • Align shoot calendars with business priorities.
  • Deliver high-quality images within timelines.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to uphold brand standards.


Candidate Profile

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in photography, with 2+ years leading photoshoots (fashion, jewelry, or luxury goods preferred).
  • Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing model/lifestyle and product photography.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Mastery of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lenses, and advanced lighting setups.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Capture One.
  • Expertise in jewelry/fashion studio lighting techniques.
  • Creative Skills:
  • Strong sense of composition, styling, and brand storytelling.
  • Ability to balance clean e-commerce requirements with creative/editorial needs.
  • Innovative mindset with awareness of photography trends.
  • Other Skills:
  • Strong planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with stylists, editors, and marketing teams.
  • Experience in e-commerce photography (platform-specific requirements, file formats, optimization).
