About Investment Research (IR)
As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you’ll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects.
What you will be doing at Evalueserve:
Support a bulge bracket global investment bank as a 1-on-1 equity research professional in QC’s and Model ValidationMaintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecastsConduct extensive company valuations using approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVAValidate already existing financial models.Benchmark companies using financial and operating statistics. Collect information from industry or sector databasesCreate presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activitiesCollect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson ReutersCreate and maintain industry databasesHandle ad hoc research requestsSummarize investment conference calls
What we’re looking for:
CA / MBA / CFA with 4+ years of experience (multiple sector experience will be a plus)Strong financial modeling and analytical skillsAbility to structure and write reports (should be able to frame views and write effectively)Good communication skills (should be able to put across thoughts clearly and confidently)Ability to multi-task and manage an entire workflowAbility to generate interesting observations / ideas from news / events / dataSelf-motivated and proactive
