Position Purpose:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Network & Security Engineer to join our team. Thisindividual will be responsible for managing end-to-end security across enterprise networkinfrastructure, addressing L1, L2, and L3 support tickets, and contributing to the design, review, andimplementation of secure network solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise inmanaging LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Data Center networks, and hybrid cloud environments, as well as inconfiguring and securing firewalls and VPNs. Role Description:1. Network Design & Implementation:Design, implement, and maintain secure LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and Data Center networks.Develop scalable and resilient network security architectures in alignment with business and compliance requirements.2. Firewall & Security Appliance Management:Configure and manage next-generation firewalls and security appliances (Cisco ASA,Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point).Maintain access control policies, VPN configurations, and network segmentation.3. Ticket Resolution:Provide timely and effective resolution of L1, L2, and L3 network & security supporttickets.Troubleshoot complex issues related to performance, connectivity, and securityacross enterprise environments.4. VPN & Secure Connectivity:Deploy and manage various VPN technologies including IPSec, SSL VPN, DMVPN, andRemote Access VPN.5. NAC & Identity-Based Access:Implement and manage Network Access Control (NAC) solutions using Cisco ISE orAruba ClearPass.6. Cloud Security:Design and enforce security controls in Azure and AWS environments.Implement and maintain cloud-based firewalls, NSGs, WAFs, CASBs, and SASEarchitectures.7. Monitoring & Audit:Utilize tools such as ManageEngine, SolarWinds and PRTG for proactive monitoring and alerting.Conduct periodic audits, maintain security documentation, and perform risk assessments to ensure compliance.8. Switching Infrastructure:Manage Cisco Access and Core switches, including Nexus device configuration and lifecycle management.9. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:Work cross-functionally with IT operations, compliance, and DevOps teams to enhance security posture.Create and review new network security solutions and provide technical guidance on emerging threats and technologies. Job Specific Knowledge/Skills:Good knowledge of Company operations and business across various sectors.Analytical thinkingAbility to prioritize actions and work within a diverse team.Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced, diverse environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Microsoft Office.Experience in managing effective communications across multiple business area and to differentseniority levels. Education:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalentexperience).8+ years of experience in network and security engineering roles.Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, network segmentation, and security principles.Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS, firewall rule sets, VPN technologies, and NACdeployments.Expertise in hybrid and multi-cloud security models.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Experience:Firewall Technologies: Fortinet NSE 4–8 Certification ·Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)Cisco: CCNP Security Additional Information:Work with cutting-edge security technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.Collaborative and growth-focused work culture.Opportunities for upskilling and certification support.
