Role: Consultant/ Senior Consultant (MedTech/Medical devices)Experience: 7 - 13 YearsLocation: Bangalore/Gurgaon/PuneJob Description:Principally responsible for interpreting data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based on primary research, secondary research, and secondary data assets. Should be able to apply qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret data and produce substantiated recommendations. Must have strong knowledge of the MedTech industry.Responsibilities:Lead project task execution by ensuring progress, organizing project data, and coordinating team meetingsCommunicate with clients/stakeholders to understand and document business objectivesDesign and execute qualitative or quantitative analyses to help clients improve their commercial effectivenessDesign questionnaires and moderator guides to ensure necessary data is capturedLeverage business experience and acumen in identifying strategic alternatives to client questionsAuthor PowerPoint reports answering key client questions and actionable recommendationsProvide thought leadership and innovation within projects and MedTech practice areasSupport in business development by preparing proposals and new product offeringsCollaborate with different teams to work on integrated projectsManage internal and external cross-functional stakeholders to support product developmentDevelop broad knowledge of related methodologies in the MedTech market through consulting engagements and learning opportunitiesDesign and implement analytics solutions, market sizing, and forecasting models to address business problemsHandle various aspects of primary market research and consulting assignmentsCoach and mentor junior team membersDevelop go-to-market strategies, pricing, and portfolio optimization recommendations for MedTech clientsProvide competitive intelligence and trend analysis to inform client decisionsUtilize real-world evidence (RWE), claims data, and for deeper insightsApply advanced analytics techniques (predictive modeling, segmentation, conjoint analysis) to support strategic recommendationsIncorporate regulatory pathways, reimbursement frameworks, and HTA considerations into recommendationsAdvice on emerging MedTech trends, AI-enabled devices, and remote monitoring solutions impacting MedTech adoptionRequirements:8-14 years’ experience in market research in MedTech/biotech/healthcare industryB. Pharm / M. Pharma / B.Tech (Biotechnology) / M.Tech (Biotechnology) / MBA (pharmaceutical management) /Other medical (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPT) / life science degreesExcellent verbal and written communicationAnalytic problem-solving skills, with a creative and innovative outlookStrong attention to detail, with a quality-focused mindsetAptitude for independently managing projectsWorking independently and as part of a teamStrong quantitative skills for MedTech studies, modeling, market sizing and forecasting, project management etcBasic understanding in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and advanced statistical packages (R, Python, SAS)Strong understanding of MedTech commercial models, pricing strategies, and distribution channelsFamiliarity with global MedTech markets, regulatory environments, and emerging technologiesAbility to lead cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and drive strategic outcomes
