Job Title: Certified Workday Functional ConsultantRole DescriptionThe primary objective of this role is to serve as a subject matter expert for Workday solutions, with a focus on the Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll functional areas. This individual will be responsible for delivering complex configurations, data transformations, and EIB data loads, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely project delivery.This consultant will lead small implementation projects, launch implementations, manage workloads for the team, and assist in all phases of the delivery lifecycle. They will also provide go-live assistance and ongoing support, leading end-to-end ownership of assigned projects.Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements gathering: Investigate business/technical requirements for clients' Absence or Time Tracking needs, working collaboratively with business analysts and architects to clarify requirements and achieve a consensus on organizational needs and priorities.Provide client overviews and design Workday solutions to meet their needs.Conduct sessions with client personnel to verify required aspects of concerned modules.Configure based on filled workbooks.Perform self-reviews and smoke testing of delivered work, reviewing peers' work.Application testing: Assist clients with testing of concerned functional modules, driven by scenarios from the client team.Production support: Include practices and disciplines of supporting Workday solutions for a period post deployment.Migration activities and production rollout: Assist with the rollout of Workday solutions into production environments.Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you will need:Excellent technical and functional skills across functional areas required for developing and delivering complex solutions across client implementations.In-depth knowledge of Workday object model and solution design approach around it.Knowledge of Absence/Time Tracking/Benefits/HCM/Compensation/Recruiting/Talent and Performance/Payroll functional areas.Self-motivation and ability to learn quickly through individual research and self-training.Ability to absorb new technologies and features quickly.Effective knowledge transfer skills in non-classroom environments.Passion for customer service.Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work with a global information systems company, leveraging synergies between teams and driving Ops excellence culture.
