Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented Data Pipeline Tester to join our team.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in ETL/data pipeline testing and API testing. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) testing is preferred.Main Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive testing of data pipelines across cloud/on-prem environments.Validate source-to-target mappings, complex data transformations, and Slowly Changing Dimension (SCD) logic.Conduct data completeness, data accuracy, and reconciliation testing.Test Informatica IDMC/IICS CDI mappings, taskflows, and ingestion patterns.Develop test scenarios using mapping documents, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and data workflow processes.API Testing:Test REST/SOAP APIs using Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.Validate request/response payloads, authentication flows, error handling, and negative testing scenarios.Collaborate with integration teams to test upstream/downstream interfaces.Validate JSON/XML schema structure, status codes, and pagination logic.Optional: MDM TestingTest MDM match/merge rules, survivorship, trust settings, workflows, and golden record creation.Validate MDM Software as a Service (SaaS) configurations, data cleansing, and Data Quality (DQ) rules (if applicable).Perform validation across landing, staging, base, and cross-reference layers.Work with Identity and Access Management (IAM) use cases (preferred, not mandatory).Quality Assurance & ProcessDevelop test plans, test cases, test data, and maintain QA documentation.Perform functional, integration, regression, and data validation testing.Log defects, track them to closure, and participate in defect triage with the development team.Ensure quality of deliverables and provide QA sign-offs.
