Dean Computer Science & Engineering
Job Profile:
An Event Manager organizes and executes events such as conferences, student activities, guest lectures, company visits and alumni gatherings. They manage logistics, coordinate with vendors, and ensure budget compliance.
Key responsibilities include event promotion, venue setup, and overseeing event timelines.
Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with diverse stakeholders for successful event outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events aligned with CEA's goals.
• Manage event budgets, timelines, and logistics.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Design marketing strategies for event promotion.
• Handle event registration and attendee communications.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and risk guidelines.
• Oversee end-to-end placement drive management, including scheduling, logistics, and
employer-student coordination.
• Prepare reports on event outcomes, initiatives, and placement statistics.
Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Master’s Degree in Event Management, Public Relations, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of event planning experience, preferably in a higher education setting or related field.
Preferred Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, budget management, problem-solving, leadership, attention to detail, vendor coordination, and the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
