About the RoleWe are seeking a highly experienced SAP Selective Data Transfer (SDT) Specialist to lead our migration from legacy systems to next-generation enterprise resource planning platforms.The ideal candidate must have hands-on expertise in SDT, Shell Conversion, SLT, and S/4HANA transition approaches.Key Responsibilities:Selective Data Transfer Strategy & PlanningDevelop comprehensive data transfer strategies for migrating selected business units, processes, or historical data.Analyze existing systems to identify migration scope, data objects, and dependencies.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data transfer plans with technical and functional requirements.Data Migration Execution & Technical ImplementationExecute selective data migrations using SAP SLT, SAP DMO with System Move, SAP SLO tools, and SAP Migration Cockpit.Configure mapping rules and transformation logic to ensure seamless data integration.Support system copies, mock migrations, and readiness assessments to guarantee business continuity.Data Mapping, Validation & CleansingConduct thorough data profiling, mapping, and validation between legacy and new systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure high data quality and accuracy.Meet regulatory compliance standards and governance requirements.Cutover Planning & Go-Live SupportDevelop cutover plans for selective migration activities to minimize business disruption.Utilize near-zero downtime techniques to ensure continuous operations.Provide hypercare and post-migration support to ensure smooth transition.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with IT, functional consultants, and business leaders to achieve common goals.Conduct workshops and training sessions to explain system impacts and best practices.Document migration architecture and validation steps to facilitate knowledge sharing.
