This is a hybrid role, reporting in the Bangalore office 3 days a week. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering, you'll be responsible for:Developing and optimizing network applications and protocols using C and PythonDesigning efficient data structures for network data processing and handle system-level programming in Linux environmentsAnalyzing network performance to identify issues and implement optimization solutionsCollaborating with teams to define requirements, design architectures, and integrate network solutionsConducting code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure robust and reliable softwareWhat We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 8+ years of experience in a distributed and enterprise-scale environmentStrong knowledge of C programming specifically for network-related data handling and processingExpertise in Linux environments, including system-level programming, scripting, and troubleshootingExperience with networking protocols and traffic management technologies (e.g. TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, QUIC)Strong knowledge in one of the cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCPWhat Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)Experience in Python programmigStay current with industry trends and propose enhancements to improve system reliability, scalability and network efficiencyExperience in Cloud-based Networking#LI-Hybrid#LI-RR1 At Zscaler, we are committed to building a team that reflects the communities we serve and the customers we work with.
