Job Title:Scientific Manager- BioinformaticsJob Summary:Excelra's team is seeking a highly skilled computational biologist to work on projects related to raw sequence analysis and downstream systematic interpretation.The successful candidate will develop novel pipelines to optimize omics analysis implementation, including genomics data analysis, drug repurposing, biomarker identification, patient stratification, disease modelling, and data integration.Key responsibilities include working with diverse customers/partners, presenting results and scientific hypotheses to internal and external stakeholders, and keeping up-to-date with relevant scientific and technical developments.A Master's degree with 3 years of industrial experience in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or related field is required, along with strong track records of scRNA-Seq and other Omics (NGS) data analysis.Able to generate in-silico experimental workflows and in-depth knowledge in proprietary and public biological databases, methods, and tools.Strong background in population genomics, including GWAS, eQTL/pQTL analyses WES/WGS sequencing data analyses, and statistical analyses of rare and common variants.Responsibilities:Collaborate with diverse customers/partners in drug discovery and development initiatives.Work closely with a multi-disciplinary team of PhD level scientists.Lead day-to-day operational activities of Omics (NGS) related projects.Present results and scientific hypotheses to internal and external stakeholders.
