Job Description:As a solar consultant, you will play a pivotal role in helping Indian homes transition to rooftop solar energy and move away from traditional electricity. You will be responsible for converting qualified leads into happy solar customers through direct interaction, educating them about solar solutions, conducting site assessments, and closing deals.The fast-paced environment demands that you excel in building relationships, understand customer needs, and suggest suitable solar solutions. A technical background is not mandatory, but it will be considered an advantage. Prior solar experience is beneficial, but we welcome candidates with relevant sales experience in other sectors.Key Responsibilities:Lead conversion & customer interaction: Visit customers' homes, educate them on solar benefits, conduct site assessments, and close dealsBuild long-term relationships with homeowners to establish trust & credibilityUnderstand customer electricity consumption patterns & requirementsSite assessments: Conduct physical site surveys, assess roof condition, area availability & other technical feasibility aspectsSales closure: Prepare customized proposals, negotiate contracts, & follow up with leads regularly to drive closuresRequired Skills and Qualifications:Our ideal candidate should have a graduate degree (any discipline) and 1-5 years of B2C field sales experience in real estate, insurance, fintech, or telecom sales. A technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering is a plus. The candidate must possess strong communication and persuasion skills in regional/local language and Hindi/English.
