Job TitleWe are seeking a seasoned professional to assume a pivotal role in the development of cloud-based applications.About UsBlackLine is a leading provider of innovative software solutions that automate and control financial processes.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute technical expertise to design, develop, troubleshoot, maintain, optimize, and scale cloud-based applications and services.Collaborate with product management, architects, and engineering teams to identify and address requirements.Maintain a strong sense of business value and return on investment in planning, design, and communication.Support technical design and architecture discussions, drive technical decisions, and make trade-offs on technology, functionality, robustness, performance, and extensibility.Estimate work scope and timelines, consistently deliver on commitments, and implement software development techniques to ensure delivered features meet expectations.Research, test, benchmark, and evaluate new tools and technologies, recommending their implementation in product development.Maintain high standards of software quality and technical excellence by establishing good practices and writing clean, testable, maintainable, and secure code.Contribute to a forward-thinking team of developers, acting as an agent of change and evangelist for a quality-first culture within the organization.Mentor and coach team members to guide them to solutions on complex design issues and perform peer code reviews.Proactively identify issues, bottlenecks, gaps, or other areas of concern and work to affect change or advocate for it.
