For more details, visit our website Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Production Manager for our Assembly division in Virar. This is a full-time position with a focus on ensuring efficient and high-quality assembly processes within our manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will have expertise in production management, assembly processes, and working with switches and switchgears.Roles and ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise switch assembly operations, ensuring daily production targets are met.Lead a team of supervisors, technicians, and operators including manpower planning, training, and performance monitoring.Ensure compliance with quality standards and implement corrective/preventive actions for process improvements.Coordinate with Design, Quality, Purchase, and Stores departments to ensure smooth production flow..Drive 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen initiatives on the shop floor.Good leadership abilities to manage and motivate production teams effectively. Manage and supervise switch assembly operations, ensuring daily production targets Develop and implement assembly line layouts and work instructions to optimize productivity and efficiency.Monitor and report KPIs such as production output, rejection rate downtime, and manpower utilization.Handle documentation related to ISO, internal audits, and customer inspections.Implement cost-saving initiatives in assembly processes and materials handling. Required Skills:Strong understanding of electrical switchgear components and assembly processes.Hands-on experience in managing assembly lines and troubleshooting bottlenecks.Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001, lean tools, and process controlExcellent people management and leadership skills..Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning tools (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics)..Problem-solving mindset and data-driven decision-making ability.Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical, CIPETElectrical Switchgear / LV-MV Panel / Socket & Switch Manufacturing
