Lead Design Architect for High-Speed IC DevelopmentJob DescriptionAs a highly experienced Senior SerDes Architect, you will lead the development of high-performance transistor-level designs. Your primary responsibility will be to work closely with customers to understand their requirements and develop innovative solutions that meet their needs.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop high-speed analog or mixed-signal ICs in advanced CMOS processesDevelop and implement high-speed PAM4 architectures and topologiesDesign high performance building block circuits such as bandgap reference, op-amp, comparators, oscillators, DLL, PLL, CTLEs, CDRs, etc.Implement equalization techniques (both analog and digital)Take designs from concept to productionCollaborate with customers to define products that address their needsEvaluate silicon on bench and work with standard lab equipmentDevelop strong intuitive and analytical understanding of transistor-level circuit design including noise and mismatch analysisWork with analog and digital behavioral modeling, and/or synthesis of digital control blocksProficient in Cadence schematic capture, virtuoso, Spectre and/or HSPICE circuit simulation toolsMATLAB understanding is preferred but not mandatoryDesign circuits for electromigration and ESD compliance in submicron CMOS processUse layout parasitic extraction tools and understand layout dependent impairments in advanced CMOS processesWork independently, create and adhere to schedulesStrong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to work with teams spread across geographic locationsProactively seek help as well as share and pass on knowledge
