About the Quality Assurance Manager role at our companyThe primary objective of the Quality Assurance Manager is to drive software testing against requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories as new software features are developed.Responsibilities include owning the development of test scripts from use cases, user stories, and other sources. This encompasses working alongside team members in undertaking testing during development sprints and product releases.The successful candidate will interact with business analysts/product owners and customer representatives to assess if acceptance criteria have been met.Owning software testing against requirement specifications, use cases, and user stories as new software features are developed, including the development of test scripts.Assisting the team in undertaking testing during development sprints and product releases.Interacting with business analysts/product owners and customer representatives to assess if acceptance criteria have been met.Collaborating with the development team to set up and run automated tests, write and maintain automated test scripts in Spec Flow and Selenium.Supporting external test partners in carrying out specialist testing activities such as load/performance testing.Accountable for producing a test management strategy and ensuring increasing testing coverage.Responsible for managing the creation of a test automation strategy and enhancing efficiency within delivery teams.Assisting with bug/defect tracking, debugging, and fixing where appropriate.Being responsible for Test environment deployments and implementing Penetration and performance testing according to company policy and customer expectation.
