Project Governance SpecialistJob Description:We are seeking a seasoned Project Governance Specialist to drive strategic reporting and portfolio management across multiple initiatives. As the head of the PMO function, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to organizational standards, optimizing processes, and enabling leadership with actionable insights.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project governance, program management, or portfolio governance roles, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros/VBA, complex modeling, and automation). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau), are essential for this role.The successful candidate will lead the development of portfolio dashboards, KPIs, and executive reports using advanced Excel and visualization tools. They will also oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking for projects and programs, facilitate executive governance meetings, and mentor and coach PMO analysts and project coordinators.5+ years of experience in PMO, program management, or portfolio governance roles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including macros/VBA, complex modeling, and automation).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and tools (MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).Experience in financial management for projects (budgeting, cost tracking, variance analysis).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Opportunity to work on high-profile projects and programs.Prominent role in driving strategic reporting and portfolio management.Collaborative team environment with talented professionals.
