The position is based in our office in Mumbai.Experience- 10 – 20 YearsJob Responsibilities:1. Perform design activities for offshore pipelines in all phases of the project (from Conceptdesign to Execution phase) in collaboration within the pipeline team.2. Provide specialist skills, integrity and knowledge in key area of subsea pipeline engineering,including design codes and current best engineering practices.3. Produce and check deliverables, which may include:a. Design calculations Mechanical Design Calculation Free Span and Span Correction On Bottom Stability Fatigue Calculation Seismic Analysis Upheaval and Lateral Bucklingb. Progress reportsc. Alignment Sheetd. Plot Plane. Approach Drawingf. Cathodic Protectiong. Installation Engineeringh. Various third-party submissionsi. Jumper and Spool design4. Hydraulic Analysis:a. Steady Stateb. Transient Modelling5. Stress Analysis in CASER II including seismic analysis6. Buckling Analysis in ABAQUS7. Reviewing / Producing Material specification:a. Line pipeb. Induction Bendsc. Fittingsd. Coatinge. Valvesf. Generating BOM8. Attend design review meetings, Engineering Interface meetings etc. with Clients/ Contractors,as required.9. Liaise with pipeline designers providing required input for pipeline drawings.Essential Skills and Knowledge:1. Proficiency in listed design and analysis software is essentiala. ABAQUSb. Math CAD Sheetc. CAESAR IId. Pipeline Studio [Good to have]e. Hysys [Good to have]2. Good knowledge of subsea pipeline engineering, including industry standard codes likeASME B31.4,31.8/ API codes etc.3. Relevant engineering experience within the oil and gas industry, especially subseapipelines4. Working knowledge of hydraulic modelling software is considered advantage5. A committed team player able to work on own initiative with minimum supervisionWork Experience & Education1. B. E / B. Tech Mechanical / Civil Engineering2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience in design and analyses of Subsea Pipelines inOil & Gas industry.3. Experience in industry accepted Design/Analysis software packages for PipelineDesign4.
