Senior Network Development Engineer JobWe are seeking an experienced Senior Network Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of the Oracle Infrastructure Engineering Services (IES) team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing network solutions that meet the needs of our customers.Your primary responsibilities will include:Design and development of network solutionsLeading and supporting network build, upgrade, and migration projectsImplementing, maintaining, and supporting cloud-based Network SaaS componentsCollaborating with program and project managers to define milestones and deliverablesCreating and maintaining runbooks, methods of procedure (MOPs), and documentation for network changes and operationsYou will also be responsible for ensuring site reliability, performance, and security, and proactively detecting and resolving issues in the production environment.In addition, you will develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network operations, automate manual processes using APIs and automation frameworks, and coordinate with network automation services teams to design and integrate support tooling.To succeed in this role, you will need to have advanced-level expertise with multiple network operating systems, strong operational knowledge of internet routing protocols and core networking concepts, and proficiency in network automation and DevOps practices.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
