Job OverviewThe role of Health, Safety & Environment Officer involves providing support to operational sectors and offices to ensure legislative, company, and client HSEQ matters are managed effectively.This position entails ensuring employee occupational health and safety, welfare, food safety, and environmental management systems are implemented efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Conduct daily inspections at operational facilities, identifying and reporting any shortfalls to relevant departments.Work on remote sites as needed, traveling to multiple locations if required.Promote adherence to HSEQ policies and procedures by example.Ensure all staff receive thorough HSEQ induction training regarding company and site HSEQ policies and procedures.Implement corrective and preventive measures for identified shortfalls during audits/inspections.Provide regular on-the-job training on HSEQ to all staff members.Sustainably implement company HSEQ initiatives, such as IMS, HACCP, and ADOSH-SF.Verify IMS/HACCP records and maintain their accuracy.Maintain awareness of statutory requirements and regulations.Investigate incidents, report them, and close the matter.Lead mitigating actions during HSEQ emergencies at the site.Ensure staff welfare adheres to company policies and procedures.Maintain road safety standards for all vehicles on-site.Perform other reasonable tasks requested by the Head of HSEQ or HSE Supervisor.Required Skills and Qualifications:Graduate or postgraduate degree in Science, Food Microbiology, or a related field from a recognized university.At least 7 years of experience in Food Safety and Health Safety management system implementation in large catering and facility management companies.HACCP Level 4 certification.Food Safety Level 4 certification.NEBOSH IGC certification.ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 22000:2018, and 45001:2018 internal auditor courses.Internationally accredited qualifications.
