Business Intelligence Administrator Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Qlik Sense administration and architecture on an enterprise scale, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Job Summary: The Business Intelligence Administrator will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Qlik Sense servers and components, ensuring effective use and reliability of BI solutions. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Main Responsibilities:Installation and Configuration: Install and configure Qlik Sense servers and components following best practices, set up clusters and nodes to ensure high availability and scalability.Environment Management: Manage Qlik Sense environments, including development, testing, and production instances, monitor resource usage and optimize configurations for efficient operations.Security Implementation: Implement and manage security measures to protect Qlik Sense applications and data, define and enforce access controls, authentication, and authorization policies.User Access and Permissions: Administer user access, licenses, and permissions within the Qlik Sense platform, monitor license usage and optimize license allocations.Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Qlik Sense applications and take proactive measures to address issues, optimize data reload processes and application response times.Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for Qlik Sense applications and data, conduct regular backups to ensure data integrity.Platform Upgrades: Plan and execute platform upgrades and apply patches as needed, stay informed about new releases and features, assessing their relevance to the organization.Collaboration: Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Qlik Sense applications.Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides, ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members.Capacity Planning: Monitor system resource usage and plan for capacity scaling as needed, work on capacity planning to accommodate growing data and user requirements.Required Skills and Qualifications:Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business or another relevant field, and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.Technical Skills: Expertise in Qlik Sense administration and architecture on an enterprise scale, knowledge of ETL tools, SQL, Windows, Linux, and Cloud operating systems administration.Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively, and demonstrate a proactive approach to improving processes.Benefits:A competitive salary and benefits package.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Other Responsibilities:Perform other duties as necessary.
