We’re Hiring: L2 Network Engineer | Chennai (On-site) Company: Teceze Position: L2 Network Engineer (Rack & Stack + Basic Python) Location: Chennai & Mumbai About Teceze: Teceze is a global IT services and consulting company delivering managed services, cybersecurity, and technology staffing solutions. Role: We’re looking for an experienced L2 Network Engineer with strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on rack & stack experience, and basic Python scripting ability to support automation and reporting. Responsibilities: L2 support for switches, routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, WAN & IPSEC Rack & stack, structured cabling, fiber patching, Ethernet cable crimping Monitor & respond to network alerts (CPU, bandwidth, flaps, packet loss) Perform config changes, firmware upgrads & device health checks Use basic Python scripts for automation, log parsing & simple reports Maintain network diagrams, port maps & documentation Follow ITIL processes for Incident/Change/Problem Skills & Qualifications: 2–4 years of network support experience Good knowledge of switching, routing fundamentals & IPSEC Hands-on with cabling, rack installations & data center work Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, SolarWinds, Zabbix) CCNA or similar certification preferred Location: Onsite/Hybrid (as applicable)
