Job TitleCyber Security ConsultantOverviewWe are seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Consultant to lead our clients' cybersecurity initiatives, ensuring their IT infrastructure and information systems meet the highest security standards.Main ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive cyber security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.Evaluate organizational compliance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and ISO/IEC standards to ensure seamless integration of security practices into business operations.Design and implement robust information security management systems (ISMS), including policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard against emerging threats.Identify gaps in current security measures and propose improvements to align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate with clients to address non-conformities and enhance system resilience through proactive measures.Support vulnerability management, threat assessment, and incident response planning to minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity.Provide consultation services for certification readiness, ensuring organizations are well-prepared for audits and assessments.RequirementsStrong understanding of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 27701, and related standards to provide expert guidance on security implementation and compliance.Proven experience in information security auditing, risk assessment, and implementation, with a focus on developing effective security strategies.Knowledge of network security, cloud security, data protection, and system hardening to design and deploy secure solutions.Proficiency in vulnerability assessment tools and incident response frameworks to promptly address security incidents.Excellent communication and client coordination skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and deliver results-oriented solutions.Relevant certifications preferred, such as ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor / Implementer CEH / CISA / CISSP / CompTIA Security+ / NIST Cybersecurity Specialist.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field to demonstrate a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles.Minimum 3–6 years of experience in cyber security audits, implementation, or consulting, with a proven track record of delivering successful security projects.Experience working with ISO certification bodies or consulting firms is highly desirable, indicating a deep understanding of industry standards and best practices.
