Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SQL Server database administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of databases.The Database Administrator will be responsible for monitoring and optimizing system performance, availability, and capacity, as well as maintaining secure database configurations, roles, and permissions.Additional responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing T-SQL queries, indexes, and schema designs, troubleshooting locking, blocking, and deadlock issues, and implementing proactive monitoring and alerting.The Database Administrator will also develop and document backup and recovery procedures, manage HA/DR solutions, and ensure compliance with RPO/RTO requirements.This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and documentation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsA competitive salary and benefits packageOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesA collaborative and dynamic work environmentThe opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the growth and success of the companyRequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field3-5 years of experience in SQL Server database administrationAdvanced knowledge of SQL Server architecture, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuningExpertise with SQL Server Agent, SSRS, SSIS, and PowerShell automationStrong understanding of Windows Server administration and Active Directory integrationExperience with Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, and Azure BackupFamiliarity with HaloPSA, PRTG, or other monitoring tools is an asset
