The Quotation Specialist will be responsible for the receiving and issuing of spare parts, tools, equipment, etc. in accordance with the laid down policies and procedures. The job duties include but are not limited to maintaining records, taking care of a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service organization and assisting customers.Main Responsibilities & Tasks:Carry out definition of spare parts for inhouse and third-party productsEnsure spare parts documentation in an appropriate way (e.g. spare parts lists)Ensure maintenance of spare parts lists and their further developmentCalculate the need for spare parts by product groupsOrganize and maintain the filing system currently in placeFollow the procedures set out for the use of the company's softwareChase purchase orders and delivery dates with suppliers in a regular basisWork closely with the suppliers to source partsLiaise and deal with other departments to resolve issues and their needsProvide information for reportingCollaborate in projectsQualification & Skills:Academic degree in relevant field or related work experienceMinimum 2 years of proven experience in a similar role and industryStrong technical understandingHigh process understanding and good SAP KnowledgeFamiliar handling of large amounts of dataProven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (Access knowledge desirable)Ability to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skillsFluent in EnglishAbout Sartorius Sartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
