API Testing Lead PositionWe are seeking an experienced API testing professional to join our team as a Senior Backend QA Automation Engineer. This role involves designing and implementing robust end-to-end automation frameworks for our backend features, collaborating with product managers and designers to create detailed test plans, and driving automation coverage within the scrum team.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive backend automation strategies for new and existing features, ensuring high-quality deliverables and rapid release cycles.Create and maintain stable, scalable automation suites that map to business acceptance criteria, leveraging expertise in REST API automation frameworks such as RestAssured or Karate.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for automation testing, including identification of flaky tests and optimization of the testing pyramid.Promote automation excellence through training and knowledge-sharing initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from a reputable institution.At least 5 years of professional experience in software testing or SDET roles, with a strong background in Java, JavaScript, or Python programming languages.Expertise in BDD frameworks like Cucumber or JBehave, with proficiency in using them to create automated test scenarios.Strong understanding of agile methodologies and their application in software development and testing.
