We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Freelance Azure Data Engineer.Design, develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Databricks (PySpark).Create and manage API integrations for seamless data exchange between systems.Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures for data transformation, analysis and performance tuning.Implement and manage Azure cloud services including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database.Develop Python-based data processing solutions for automation, orchestration and transformation tasks.Integrate Vectr for log management and real-time data streaming.Leverage Cribl for data observability, transforming and routing data efficiently.Evaluate and ensure data security, governance and compliance with industry standards.Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize the performance of data workflows.Job RequirementsThe ideal candidate has extensive experience in Azure cloud services and tools for high-performance data processing. They should be skilled in designing, developing and maintaining complex data pipelines, as well as optimizing data workflows for efficient data exchange. Additionally, they should have expertise in SQL query optimization, API integration and cloud service management.We are looking for a highly motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
