Job Title: Payroll Management SpecialistAre you a detail-oriented professional with expertise in payroll administration and benefits coordination?We are seeking an experienced Payroll Management Specialist to oversee the full cycle of multi-state payroll processing for salaried and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Responsibilities:Manage multi-state payroll in a professional services or high-growth environment, supporting 1,000+ employees preferred.Maintain strong understanding of payroll laws and regulations, including FMLA, COBRA, and state/local payroll compliance.Process payroll GL reconciliations, audits, and year-end processing.Partner with HR Service Delivery teams on employee data updates related to compensation, benefits, and employment status changes.Analyze and present data clearly and effectively, providing actionable insights to support leadership decision-making.Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions aligned with best practices and regulatory standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.Five (5) or more years of payroll experience, with a focus on payroll administration and benefits coordination.Proficiency with MS Office Suite; intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This role requires a self-starter with the ability to work independently and virtually, demonstrating initiative and accountability. Experience with UKG, ADP, or similar payroll systems is preferred. An HR or payroll certification is also highly valued.
