JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Project Manager (Commerce)

WHAT WE DO?

KarmaLife, we are revolutionizing the gig economy by providing Earned Wage Access (EWA) and other small-ticket, short-term credit solutions to empower millions of workers in India. Our tech-driven approach evaluates current behavior instead of financial history, ensuring financial stability and access to funds during emergencies. Collaborating with employers and aggregators, our plug-and-play platform seamlessly integrates with HR management systems, fostering a sustainable future for the gig and blue-collar workforce.

WHAT YOU SHALL DO?

We are looking for a product-oriented individual to help us build an embedded finance platform that provides our users seamless access to highly relevant, credit-backed products & services across key areas like mobility, workplace empowerment, health, housing and social security. The ideal candidate will possess strong business strategy, project design and execution skills as well as excellent teamwork abilities. He/she will thrive in a fast-paced learning environment and excel at conducting core research, developing solutions, gathering requirements, designing & planning iterative pilot experiments, and analyzing / synthesizing data to derive actionable insights. The key areas of work include, but are not limited to:

1. User research: Capturing insights on user preferences, behaviors, needs, etc. to create relevant value props.
2. Industry research: Analyzing market trends, identifying key stakeholders, assessing prospective partners.
3. Project planning and management: Conceptualising value propositions, distilling out implementation components, designing / phasing pilot experiments by activity/ milestone/ timeline, and efficiently implementing these plans
4. Data collection and analysis: Analyzing performance data, distilling actionable insights, prioritizing strategies, reporting findings.
5. Cross-functional Partner management: Engaging/collaborating with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, business, operations, finance to create integrated solutions/; liaising with external partners to build effective business models
6. Customer product journey optimisation: Understand the user journey and identify areas for improving customer engagement and experience.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Proven experience as a business analyst or a similar role, preferably in the fintech industry. An ideal candidate would have the below qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance , or a related field.
Deep passion for digital products and how they can change people’s lives
Very strong learning mindset; Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
Strong problem-solving skills , with the ability to think critically, structure problems, propose effective strategies/solutions.
Proficiency in research and data analysis , with the ability to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to synthesize / present complex information clearly and concisely.
Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint (or Google Slides, Canva) for data analysis, reporting, and presentations .
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
