3 month+ contract role
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS): · 5+ years of experience with Aternity or other application performance system. Expert skills with the Microsoft Windows OS, including understanding the registry and WMI. Working knowledge of performance measuring and monitoring tools, including but not limited to: Windows native performance tools, b. Sysinternals tools, c. Other industry standard tools, such as PCMark, Familiarity with SQL Server or Snowflake, Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy, Working knowledge of PowerShell, Familiarity with reporting tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
WHAT YOU’LL DO: As an IT Engineer on the Windows Hardware and Device Management (WHDM) squad, you will join an Agile team of IT Architects, Engineers, and Analysts who are focused on setting the Windows laptop hardware standards and managing the platforms required to manage them. In this role, you will primarily be focused on client's digital experience monitoring software, Aternity. Enhance the capabilities and value of Aternity at clliet's by increasing its data collection, such as device attributes and settings, application activities, and health events. Work with others to further enhance the value of Aternity inside and outside of WHDM. Implement and configure new and existing features of Aternity that are not yet utilized at client. Represent client in requesting priority feature enhancements from Aternity and providing feedback on a wide range of features and functionality. Facilitate training opportunities for Aternity users at client. Some trainings will be self-developed while others will be delivered by outside partners. This will include a wide range of skillsets from beginner orientations to in-depth, advanced training. Help to drive out the most prevalent issues facing client users through reporting, alerting, and automation. Develop, document, and communicate standards and best practices for using Aternity at client. These important messages will be delivered through email, Slack messaging, and live video calls. Additional Aternity management tasks, including managing Aternity access, monitoring licenses, modifying shared dashboards, testing back-end (SaaS) upgrades, driving agent upgrades, and more. In addition to the Aternity-related functions above, you will also work with other IT Architects, Engineers, and Analysts on the WHDM Team for various priorities related to client's fleet of Windows laptops and the other systems used to manage them.

YOU’LL WORK WITH: You will join an existing Agile squad comprised of engineers, architects, analysts, a product owner, and scrum master. You will report to the Engineering Chapter Lead and will work closely with the product owner and scrum master to determine your work for each sprint.
