We're looking for a hands-on technical expert with deep expertise in software engineering, microservices, and cloud architecture. You'll design, build, and optimize large-scale distributed systems using , , and Java. This role is for technologists who want to code, design, and shape engineering excellence — not just review it. Key Responsibilities: Design and build scalable applications using , , and Java (Spring Boot). Architect event-driven systems optimized for scalability, resilience, and modularity. Define observability standards using Prometheus and Grafana (mandatory). Implement performance tuning, load testing, and proactive alerting to maintain high availability. Drive DevOps alignment, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes deployments, and cloud-native design patterns. Create and maintain architecture artifacts — diagrams, decisions (ADR), and scalability roadmaps. Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to improve developer productivity and system reliability. Mentor engineers on architecture patterns, design decisions, and clean code principles. Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate ideas into robust, production-grade solutions. Required Skills & Experience: 12–15 years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in an architect-level role. Deep hands-on proficiency in , , and Java/Spring Boot across front-end and backend stacks. Strong background in microservices, REST/gRPC APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Pulsar). Mandatory expertise in Prometheus and Grafana for observability, metrics instrumentation, and dashboard creation. Proven ability to design and optimize systems for high performance, scalability, and reliability. Solid experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong grasp of SQL and NoSQL databases, caching layers, and distributed transaction design. Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation), and secure API gateways. Demonstrated knowledge of system security, fault-tolerance, and monitoring best practices. Exceptional communication and documentation skills; able to present architecture to diverse audiences.
