Geometric Analysis and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) ExpertWe are seeking an exceptionally talented and entrepreneurial AI/ML Engineer to build our next-generation browser-based platform for geometric analysis and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).This is a high-impact role focused on bringing real-time, industrial-grade analysis directly to the browser, impacting how products are designed, costed, and produced globally.Design and implement machine learning models for the geometric analysis of injection molded plastic parts, leveraging algorithms that can accurately predict product performance and optimize manufacturing processes.Develop computer vision algorithms for automated feature detection in 3D CAD models, enabling engineers to rapidly identify potential design flaws and areas for improvement.Build predictive models for manufacturing cost estimation, cycle time prediction, and defect analysis, providing critical insights to inform business decisions and drive efficiency gains.Create real-time inference engines optimized for browser-based deployment using TensorFlow.js/ONNX.js, empowering users to quickly explore complex data sets and make informed decisions.Design data pipelines for continuous model training and improvement, ensuring that our AI systems remain up-to-date and effective in supporting business objectives.Key Responsibilities & ImpactAI/ML Development & Real-time InferenceArchitect browser-based AI systems that process large 3D models efficiently, utilizing advanced technologies like WebAssembly and GPU acceleration to deliver fast performance and seamless user experiences.Integrate STEP/STL file processing with AI analysis workflows, streamlining data preparation and enabling users to quickly access valuable insights.Develop WebAssembly modules for high-performance geometry computation, optimizing our browser-based platform for demanding use cases and applications.Build scalable model serving infrastructure supporting real-time analysis, ensuring that our AI systems can handle heavy workloads and maintain peak performance under load.Manufacturing Analysis & DFMDevelop DFM analysis algorithms for wall thickness, draft angles, undercuts, and gate placement, helping manufacturers optimize their designs and reduce production costs.Build moldflow simulation capabilities using AI-accelerated CFD techniques, enabling engineers to simulate complex manufacturing processes and test different scenarios before committing to physical prototypes.Implement quality prediction models for common injection molding defects, reducing the risk of costly rework and improving overall product quality.
