About the RoleWe are seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. This key role will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for indirect categories including civil, mechanical, and electrical works, capital expenditures, maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), and spares.Key Responsibilities:Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery.Purchase Order Processing: Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.Cost Optimization: Negotiate pricing and payment terms to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality standards.Market Research: Monitor market trends and conduct supplier benchmarking to support strategic sourcing decisions.New Product Development: Coordinate with vendors for development of new/alternative products.Contract Management: Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts for sub-contractors to ensure legal compliance and operational efficiency.Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and maintain accurate records.Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including delays, quality issues, or vendor failures.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to align with business needs.Reporting & Analysis: Generate procurement KPI reports and analyze data to support decision-making and continuous improvement.We offer a dynamic work environment where you can develop your skills and expertise in strategic sourcing and procurement.
