Note: This is a off-roll contractual role of 6 monthsRole Overview:As a Gen AI Intern, you will work at the intersection of AI, product, and operations, embedding yourself daily with different Crew Captains across categories (Travel, Dining, Gifting, Cabs, and more).Your mission: Spot inefficiencies, design solutions, and implement them using AI tools, no-code/low-code platforms, and (if you can) some coding.Youll own problems end-to-end, from identifying the challenge, to building the tool, to deploying and measuring impact.What Youll Do:Shadow Crew Captains daily to understand operational workflows & challenges.Identify opportunities where AI or automation can save time, reduce errors, or improve user experience.Prototype solutions using:AI APIs (OpenAI, Claude, etc.)No-code/low-code platforms (v0, lovable, Airtable, Zapier, etc.)Custom scripts (Python, JavaScript) if neededCollaborate with product, tech, and ops to roll out solutions.Measure impact of implemented tools and iterate quickly.Document solutions for long-term scalability.What Were Looking For:Must-haves:Curiosity to explore problems deeply and challenge the status quo.Strong understanding of Gen AI capabilities & prompt engineering.Comfort with no-code/low-code tools; ability to quickly learn new platforms.Analytical thinking & structured problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex AI concepts simply.Entrepreneurial mindset - proactive, resourceful, and comfortable working in ambiguity.High agency & high effort - you take initiative, move fast, and push for outcomes.Nice-to-haves:Basic coding ability (Python, JavaScript, or similar).Experience integrating APIs.Prior exposure to product management or operations.You'll Thrive in This Role If You:Love finding smarter, faster ways to get things done.Enjoy turning messy, unstructured processes into clean, automated workflows.Can adapt quickly to different teams, categories, and problem spaces.Are comfortable taking full ownership of a problem and seeing it through.Want immense learning and exposure by working with a highly talented, fast-moving team.What You'll Get:End-to-end ownership of AI problem-solving projects.A crash course in product thinking, operations, and AI deployment in a real-world, high-stakes environment.Work closely with some of the best minds in product, tech, and ops.The opportunity to make a visible, immediate impact in a fast-paced startup.
