Job SummaryThe role of the Mechanical Engineer is to oversee the planning and execution of mechanical tests, data analysis, and report preparation.Test Conductance: Ensure that all mechanical tests are conducted in accordance with relevant standards and internal procedures.Collaborate in the setup of test rigs, fixtures, sensors, and data acquisition systems.Prepare test specimens, ensure correct mounting/alignment, and run trials as required.Data Analysis & Reporting:Accurately record, validate, and analyse test data.Utilize basic statistical tools and engineering calculations to interpret results.Generate clear, concise test reports incorporating data, graphs, and technical conclusions.Maintain accurate documentation and traceability for all performed tests.Equipment Maintenance:Operate and perform troubleshooting on mechanical testing equipment.FOLLOW preventive maintenance and calibration schedules guided by the lab head / QA team.Comply with lab SOPs, work instructions, and quality system requirements.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
