Generative AI Engineer Job SummaryThe role of Generative AI Engineer is to lead the development and deployment of cutting-edge generative and large language models (LLMs) for multimodal document and data processing.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence with a strong foundation in probability, statistics, and optimisation;5+ years of experience in ML/Data Science with a focus on generative AI, LLMs, or computer vision;Expertise in large-scale Transformer-based models (GPT, VLMs) and familiarity with cloud microservices (AWS);Experience working with multimodal datasets (text, images, 3D) and proficiency in Python and libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and pandas;Strong software engineering background — OOP, testing, version control, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform);Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Technical leadership and strategic direction for the Generative AI team;Shape and execute the AI strategy, identifying high-impact use cases;Design, build, and deploy advanced generative and large language models (LLMs) for multimodal document and data processing;Multimodal innovation and scalable engineering;Collaboration with engineering, product, and business teams to embed AI into real-world products and workflows;Mentorship and research opportunities.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent technical skills, business acumen, and communication skills.
