Quality Assurance SpecialistAbout the Role:The role of a Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure that all raw materials meet the required specifications and standards. This involves conducting routine testing at various stages of concrete production, from batching to delivery.Responsibilities:Conduct regular quality control checks on cement, aggregates, admixtures, and waterEnsure that concrete produced meets the required specifications and standardsPrepare and maintain quality control test reports, records, and documentsInspect and calibrate laboratory and batching plant equipment regularlySupervise and guide lab technicians in sampling and testing proceduresCoordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure consistent quality during operationsInvestigate customer complaints related to concrete quality and suggest corrective actionsImplement quality assurance procedures and safety standards at the plantQualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have:A diploma or degree in civil engineering or a related fieldAt least 5 years of experience in quality control at an RMC plantStrong knowledge of concrete technology and mix designFamiliarity with IS codes and quality testing proceduresAbility to operate and calibrate lab and plant equipmentExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and coordination abilities, and proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation
