As a Senior Accountant with financial expertise, you will be responsible for managing monthly financial statements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing insights into variances.You will prepare and review Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the financial reporting process.You will analyze financial results and provide detailed explanations to enhance business understanding. You will communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.You will also prepare and review VAT returns for properties in compliance with local tax regulations.Please note that experience in real estate is beneficial but not essential. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to financial analysis and reporting is key to success in this role.Key Responsibilities:Financial Analysis and Reporting:• Preparation and review of monthly financial statements, including P&L and Balance Sheets• Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting, adhering to company accounting policies and proceduresBusiness Partnering and Stakeholder Communication:• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accuracy of financial reports• Analyze financial results and provide detailed explanations to stakeholders• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processesVAT Returns:• Prepare and review VAT returns for properties in compliance with local tax regulationsProperty-Focused Financial Analysis:• Support financial management of a portfolio of properties, including new funds and existing propertiesQualifications and Experience:• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience• Experience in property or real estate accounting is beneficial but not requiredLanguages:• Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential for working with Spanish-speaking clientsTechnical Skills:• Strong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
