As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving business success through expert financial analysis and product costing.The position involves transitioning BU level costing activities to finance CoE and taking responsibility for product costing activities within the ERP system. You will also establish processes for analyzing variances and provide actionable insights to reduce discrepancies compared to established standards.Certified/Qualified Accountant with expertise in professional accounting bodies such as Chartered accountant or Cost and Management AccountantUniversity Degree in a relevant fieldA minimum of eight years post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organizationMinimum of six years hands-on experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledgeStrong understanding of SAP MM and PP modules, including non-financial information impact on costingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsYou will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels. Your proficiency in spreadsheet applications (Excel) and reporting and analysis tools (BW, BCS, Lumira etc.) is essential for delivering high-quality results.Single point contact for SAP product costingIndependently handle entire product costing activities on SAPRegular review of materials pending cost release and liaison with markets for timely update of standard costsEnd-to-end support for standard cost release following established group methodology for standard cost calculationConduct reviews to ensure accuracy of standard costsAnalyze procurement transactions and identify cause for price varianceReview exceptions and abnormal variances and liaison with markets to take corrective actionFactory variance analysis and consolidationYour attention to detail and ability to work independently or within a team environment make you an ideal candidate for this role.
