Cloud-Native Engineer Job DescriptionAs a Cloud-Native Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native platforms for scale, reliability, and performance. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of Kubernetes, networking, and security components to deliver high-quality solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable and secure Kubernetes architecture for on-prem environments.Implement advanced networking features such as SNAT, Calico, Cilium, and Multus.Configure and manage MetalLB and Istio for service mesh and traffic management.Implement DNS solutions in virtualized environments.Optimize network performance using Sr-IOV and DPDK for high-performance workloads.Develop and maintain network and traffic engineering capabilities.Configure and troubleshoot Cisco VXLAN and Arista fabrics.Implement Kubernetes ingress/egress and traffic routing.Integrate cluster and network underlay infrastructure.Develop tenant networking solutions with Cisco and Arista.Implement platform operations and observability using Prometheus and Grafana.Prepare OpenShift/OpenStack tenants for application onboarding.Requirements:Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and networking concepts.Experience with Red Hat Virtualization (RHV) and container platforms.Familiarity with Wind River IaaS for cloud and edge deployments.Knowledge of VMware to OpenShift/OpenStack/Wind River migrations.Ability to design and document High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).Constantly learning, building, and optimizing cloud-native platforms for scale, reliability, and performance.Benefits:This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including opportunities for professional growth and development.Keyword: NetworkArchitecture
