This role ensures highly available reporting infrastructure, consistent data quality, and optimized performance for executives, business operations, and analytics teams across global clients.Role SummaryBOBJ Platform Operations and Administrations- Manage and maintain SAP BusinessObjects 4.2/4.3 (CMC, BI LaunchPad, SIA, APS, AJS, WIPS) ensuring high uptime and platform stability.- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across WebI, Crystal Reports, UNX universes, OLAP connections, and security configurations.- Monitor and fine-tune report performance, scheduling failures, publications, and background job execution.- Administer enterprise security: user/group provisioning, AD/LDAP integration, SSO (SNC/SAML), folder permissions, and RLS.- Govern promotion workflows across DEV → QA → PROD using LCM/Promotion Management.- Maintain platform audit, monitoring dashboards, and compliance requirements for regulated industries.BW on HANA Data Modeling and Operation Support- Provide L2/L3 support for BW on HANA data flows, including DTP errors, transformation logic, process chain failures, and HANA-side performance issues.- Troubleshoot and optimize the following BW objects:- CompositeProviders (HCPR) – joins, unions, mappings- ADSO – inbound table, active table, changelog, delta queue behavior- Open ODS Views – external data integration- Transformations, InfoObjects, Process Chains- Collaborate with modeling teams to ensure BEx queries align with BOBJ consumption requirements; validate RKF/CKF, structures, filters, variables.- Conduct advanced query analysis using RSRT, OLAP statistics, read modes, and HANA execution plans to ensure sub-second response times.SAP ECC/S/4 Extraction, Delta Mechanism- Support LO Cockpit extractions across SD, MM, FI including:- Setup table initialization, clearing, and reinitialization (OLI*BW)- Delta queue monitoring (RSA7)- qRFC monitoring and resolution (SMQ1/SMQ2)- Validate extractor logic via RSA3, troubleshoot missing/duplicate records, delta failures, and ODP mapping inconsistencies.- Support ODP-SAPI, ODP-CDS, SLT-based real-time provisioning into BW on HANA.- Work closely with functional teams to ensure upstream ECC/S/4 issues do not impact downstream BOBJ reporting.Report and Universe Development [Enhancement]- Enhance and maintain UNX universes using IDT: data foundations, business layers, contexts, joins, cardinalities, and custom functions.- Build, optimize, and regression-test WebI reports using BEx queries, HANA views, or universe layers.- Deliver documentation including lineage, mapping sheets, data flow diagrams, report catalogs, and performance dashboards.Qualification- 4–8 years of experience across SAP BOBJ and SAP BW on HANA landscapes.- Hands-on with WebI, Crystal, CMC administration, UNX design, BICS connectivity, and platform security.- Strong BW on HANA fundamentals: ADSO, CompositeProviders, Open ODS, Transformations, Process Chains, BEx Queries.- Experienced in LO Cockpit processes, setup tables, delta queue management (RSA7), and extractor troubleshooting.- Working knowledge of HANA SQL, calculation views, and performance optimization.- Proven experience supporting enterprise-scale BI environments with tight SLAs.Preffered Skills- Experience with BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud.- Familiarity with scripting (Shell/PowerShell) for automation.- Understanding of multi-system landscapes (SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, non-SAP sources).- SAP Certification in BO/BW preferred.Why Rialtes- Opportunity to work in a global, AI-enabled consulting organization recognized for innovation and excellence.- Access to deep expertise in SAP, Salesforce, AI platforms, and multi-cloud architectures.- Be part of projects across Fortune 500 and hyper-growth enterprises.- Fast-paced, high-ownership culture with focus on continuous learning, certifications, and leadership development.- Exposure to industry-specific accelerators, IP frameworks, and integration patterns unique to Rialtes.
